Odisha marked the 77th Republic Day with widespread celebrations across the state. Flag hoisting ceremonies, parades, and cultural displays were held at district headquarters, courts, political offices, and institutions. Chief Justice Harish Tandon led the celebrations at Orissa High Court in Cuttack, while ministers and deputy chief ministers attended events in Puri, Koraput, Khordha, Dhenkanal, and Bhadrak.
The BJP and BJD also celebrated at their state offices, and East Coast Railway observed the day at its Bhubaneswar headquarters. The events highlighted Odisha’s rich heritage, contributions to India’s freedom struggle, patriotic fervour, and the continued commitment of citizens and institutions to constitutional values.
