An unusual case of cattle smuggling was reported in Bhadrak, Odisha, when local residents stopped an oil tanker carrying over 35 cattle. The vehicle, traveling from Cuttack to Bhadrak on National Highway 16, was intercepted due to suspicions of illegal activity.
The method of transporting cattle in an oil tanker triggered public anger and tension at the spot. Police have launched an investigation to identify the culprits and understand how the cattle were loaded. Authorities are expected to take legal action following the inquiry.
