CISF Marks 57th Raising Day in Rourkela With Combat Drills and Dog Squad Demonstrations

Personnel of the CISF celebrated the 57th Raising Day in Rourkela with combat demonstrations, tactical drills, and dog squad performances showcasing the force’s preparedness and operational capabilities.

Personnel of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) celebrated their57th Raising Dayin Rourkela with a series of impressive demonstrations highlighting the force’s strength, discipline and operational readiness.

The event was organised at the CISF campus near Birsa Munda Chowk on Tuesday and witnessed enthusiastic participation from CISF personnel and officials.

Jawans Showcase Combat Readiness

During the celebrations, hundreds of CISF jawans displayed various combat strategies, tactical drills and battle techniques designed to respond to hostile threats.

The demonstrations showed how security forces train and prepare themselves for emergency situations. The event ground was transformed into a battlefield-like setup where jawans exhibited coordinated drills, combat manoeuvres and simulated response operations.

Speaking on the occasion, DIG CISF Rourkela, Ratan Kumar, said the Raising Day holds special significance for the force.

“This is the most important day for us. The force was established on this day in 1969, and it reminds us of the dedication, service and contributions of all those who have been part of the organisation. Today’s demonstrations are a small effort to showcase our professional skills and preparedness,” he said.

He also added that CISF personnel practise these techniques regularly to remain ready to tackle any security challenge.

Dog Squad Demonstrates Special Skills

The CISF dog squad also captivated the audience with a series of special performances.

The trained dogs displayed remarkable agility and discipline through various acts, including jumping through burning rings of fire and executing complex commands. The performances drew applause from spectators and highlighted the crucial role of canine units in security operations.
