Additionally, global markets have also shown weakness, with Asian and US markets reacting negatively to geopolitical developments. This has added pressure on Indian equities, causing broad-based selling across sectors such as auto, banking, and IT.
Technical analysts suggest that Nifty has key support around 23,400–23,500, while resistance is seen near 23,750–23,800. If the index holds above the support level, a short-term recovery is possible; otherwise, further downside cannot be ruled out.
Overall, traders are advised to stay cautious, focus on strong stocks, and monitor global cues as market volatility may remain high throughout the day.
