Chandni Bhabhda’s journey from social media stardom to the silver screen is a story of persistence, talent, and timing. Rising to popularity through Instagram with her spot-on celebrity mimicry videos, Chandni built a loyal following of over 5 lakh users—many of whom discovered her through her humorous and accurate impressions of Alia Bhatt.
In an exclusive conversation, Chandni shared that while she had quietly dreamed of working in films, she never imagined it would happen the way it did. Growing up with her family in a one-room kitchen home for nearly 18 years, she credits her upbringing for shaping her empathy and outlook on life. “I don’t see them as struggles,” she said, adding that every phase of her life taught her something valuable.
Her big break came with Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, headlined by Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday. Chandni revealed that the casting process was far from smooth. After two auditions, she was initially rejected, only to be reconsidered later. “I told myself I’d believe it only when I reached the set,” she recalled. That moment finally sank in when she began shooting in Nawalgarh, Rajasthan.
Talking about her first day on a Dharma Productions set, Chandni admitted she was nervous but felt instantly welcomed. From being pampered by the crew to indulging in local Rajasthani food, the experience was both overwhelming and heartwarming. She also shared a fond anecdote about working with Jackie Shroff, saying his calm energy kept the entire set relaxed. “He teaches you to live life fully and stay close to nature,” she said.
Chandni’s bond with Ananya Panday, she revealed, developed naturally. Describing Ananya as a sister, Chandni said the connection came instinctively, especially during emotionally intense scenes. “I feel very protective of her—it just came from within,” she shared.
Beyond acting, Chandni spoke thoughtfully about perspective and empathy, explaining how camera lenses—and life—can change narratives depending on how one chooses to look. She stressed how quickly people judge, especially on social media, and why empathy matters more than ever.
Despite her Bollywood debut, Chandni says mimicry remains a core part of who she is. In fact, it has become a family affair, with even her father narrating stories in different character voices. Her mother, meanwhile, has watched the film multiple times and is particularly obsessed with one of its songs.
Directed by Sameer Sanjay Vidwans, Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri released in theatres on December 25, 2025, marking a memorable new chapter in Chandni Bhabhda’s evolving career—from viral reels to the big screen.
