A late-night encounter between a leopard and a local youth in Odisha’s Narsinghpur area turned deadly, leaving the animal dead and the youth critically injured. The incident occurred at a farmhouse in Anantprasad village when the leopard entered the premises, alerted by barking pet dogs.
The youth struggled with the animal in an attempt to defend himself, resulting in fatal injuries to the leopard. Police and forest officials reached the site, provided medical assistance, and began an investigation into how the leopard strayed into the residential area.
