Tensions in the Middle East have escalated further after U.S. President Donald Trump warned that Iran could face stronger military strikes in response to what he described as Tehran’s “bad behaviour.” In a social media post, Trump said Iran would be “hit very hard,” adding that new areas and groups not previously targeted could be considered in future actions.

The warning came shortly after Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian issued an apology to neighbouring countries for missile and drone attacks carried out during the ongoing conflict. He said Iran would halt strikes on neighbouring states unless attacks against Iran originated from those territories.

Despite the apology, the conflict between Iran, the United States and Israel continues to intensify across the region. Trump has maintained a hardline stance, insisting that the U.S. still holds significant leverage over Iran and signalling that negotiations are unlikely unless Tehran changes its approach.

The developments highlight growing instability in the Middle East, with regional countries closely watching how the confrontation between Washington and Tehran unfolds in the coming days.
