Subhadra Yojana: ₹315 Crore Transferred to 4.57 Lakh Beneficiaries Across Odisha

The Odisha government has credited over ₹315 crore to more than 4.57 lakh beneficiaries under the Subhadra Yojana through DBT. The latest disbursal included newly enrolled women and beneficiaries earlier left out.

The Odisha government on Thursday disbursed over ₹315 crore under the Subhadra Yojana, benefiting more than 4.57 lakh women across the state. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi formally launched the transfer at a state-level programme held at the OUAT campus in Bhubaneswar, with funds directly credited to beneficiaries’ bank accounts via the direct benefit transfer system.

The latest phase expanded the scheme’s reach by covering both newly registered beneficiaries and those previously excluded. As many as 1,78,398 women received their first instalment, marking their official inclusion under the welfare programme.

Additionally, 2,55,265 beneficiaries who had missed out on the first and second instalments were also credited with their pending assistance. Officials said the move reinforces the government’s commitment to ensuring financial support reaches all eligible women under the Subhadra Yojana.
