The ninth edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) 2026 is set to take place in the first week of February 2026, bringing together students, parents and teachers from across India for an interactive discussion on examinations, learning and life beyond marks.
The tentative schedule was announced by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), which confirmed that the Prime Minister will interact with participants in New Delhi. Since its launch in 2018, Pariksha Pe Charcha has become a key academic event aimed at reducing exam stress and encouraging a positive, confident approach to assessments.
Participation in PPC 2026 has reached a new milestone, with registrations crossing 6 crore from students, parents and teachers nationwide. The programme will be broadcast live on Doordarshan channels, All India Radio and several private television networks, while also being streamed on digital platforms of the Prime Minister’s Office and the Ministry of Education.
This year’s edition will focus on themes such as making exams a celebration, the contribution of freedom fighters, environmental protection and cleanliness. Along with addressing student concerns around motivation, discipline and self-confidence, the Prime Minister will also engage with parents and teachers to help them better support students during the examination phase.
