The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested another alleged middleman in connection with the Odisha Police Sub-Inspector (SI) recruitment examination scam. The latest arrest was made in Berhampur on Friday, officials said.According to investigators, Sitaram’s alleged involvement came to light during the interrogation of several candidates linked to the case. Based on evidence that emerged during questioning, the CBI issued multiple notices directing him to appear before the agency for examination.Odisha Police SI recruitment scam case, the CBI has already filed a preliminary chargesheet against 16 accused, including the alleged main kingpin, Shankar Prusti. Officials stated that the investigation remains ongoing and further developments are expected as the probe progresses.CBI officials confirmed that the arrested accused will be produced before a competent court on Saturday.
