Over 15 people sustained injuries, with two to three reported in critical condition. Preliminary reports suggest over-speeding and rash driving as the likely causes. The collision caused severe damage to the front portions of both vehicles, and the pickup van overturned at the site.

Local residents alerted the police and fire services, and Digapahandi police and rescue teams conducted prompt rescue operations. Both drivers sustained serious injuries and were shifted to Berhampur Medical for treatment. All other injured individuals are receiving care at Digapahandi Hospital, while critically injured victims were moved to MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur.

No fatalities have been reported, though passengers were left shaken. Police are investigating the scene to determine the exact sequence of events, with further details awaited.
