Dry weather conditions are expected to prevail across Odisha for the coming three days, according to the latest forecast from the Meteorological Centre. While no major weather systems are likely to affect the State, fog conditions during the early morning hours may disrupt visibility in several districts.
Shallow to moderate fog is likely in parts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khordha, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Angul, and Dhenkanal. The weather department has also issued Yellow Warnings for dense fog at isolated places in districts including Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Bhadrak, Puri, Khordha, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Ganjam, and Gajapati on different forecast days.
Minimum (night) temperatures are expected to remain stable over the next two days, followed by a gradual rise of around 2–3°C in several districts. Authorities have advised commuters and drivers to exercise caution during early morning travel, use fog lights, and maintain safe distances due to reduced visibility on roads and highways. Residents have also been urged to stay updated with official weather bulletins.
