What began as a thrill-seeking act ended in strict police action after a group of youths was caught performing dangerous car stunts on a public road in Odisha’s Sambalpur district. The incident took place on the South Dyke road of the Hirakud Dam, a busy stretch frequently used by commuters and tourists.According to police sources, the youths were driving their cars in a highly reckless manner, blatantly violating traffic norms and endangering the lives of other road users. Some individuals were seen sitting on the roofs of moving vehicles, while others posed theatrically in a film-style fashion. Shockingly, visuals also captured a few youths smoking cigarettes while the cars were in motion.
