The final results of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Examination 2025 have been announced, but the list includes 348 candidates whose results have been declared as “provisional.” This designation means their selection is temporary and subject to verification of certain eligibility criteria and required documents.

According to the commission, provisional status is typically assigned when some documents or certificates submitted by candidates are pending verification or require clarification.
