The Government of Odisha has issued Notification No.3941/AIS.I announcing the appointment ofDr. Arabinda Kumar Padhee, IAS (RR-1996)as theAdditional Chief Secretary to Government, Revenue & Disaster Management Department.
Dr. Padhee is currently serving as theAdditional Chief Secretary, Agriculture & Farmers’ Empowerment Departmentand has also been holding the additional charge ofChief Administrator, Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA), Puri. As per the notification, he is allowed tocontinue with the additional charge of Chief Administrator, SJTA, Purialongside his new responsibilities.
Consequently, theadditional appointment of Shri Deoranjan Kumar Singh, IASas Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Revenue & Disaster Management Departmentshall stand terminatedfrom the date Dr. Padhee assumes charge.
The decision reflects the state government’s administrative restructuring aimed at ensuring effective governance and streamlined management in key departments, particularly Revenue and Disaster Management.
