The disagreement reportedly originated at Pathara Kandarapada School and involved members of two communities.
Efforts by the Block Education Officer and CRC coordinators to resolve the issue through discussions on Thursday evening failed to reach a consensus. After officials left, tensions flared again, leading to stone pelting and a brief clash, triggering panic among residents. Senior police officials rushed to the spot, held talks with both groups, deployed additional forces, and restored normalcy. Authorities confirmed that no injuries were reported and the situation remains under control.
