Kolkataର ପ୍ରସିଦ୍ଧ **Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute (SRFTI)**ରେ ଏକ outside organisationର programmeକୁ କେନ୍ଦ୍ର କରି ହୋଇଥିବା clash ପରେ campusରେ tension ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହୋଇଛି।

September 27ରେ Akhil Bharatiya Grahak Panchayat (ABGP) SRFTI auditoriumରେ ଏକ programme ଆୟୋଜନ କରିଥିଲା। Institute authorities programme ପାଇଁ auditorium rentରେ ଦେଇଥିଲେ। Studentsର ଏକ ଅଂଶ campusରେ outside organisationକୁ event କରିବାକୁ permission ଦିଆଯାଇଥିବାର ବିରୋଧ କରିଥିଲେ। ପରେ ଏହି protest physical confrontationରେ ପରିଣତ ହୋଇଥିଲା। 

Studentsଙ୍କ ଅଭିଯୋଗ କ’ଣ?

SRFTI Students’ Unionର ଅଭିଯୋଗ ଅନୁସାରେ ABGP members ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ “anti-national” ଭଳି ଶବ୍ଦରେ ଡାକିଥିଲେ ଏବଂ protest ସମୟରେ physical assault କରିଥିଲେ।

Students ଦାବି କରିଛନ୍ତି ଯେ punches, kicks, stones, bricks ଏବଂ sticks ବ୍ୟବହାର କରାଯାଇଥିଲା। କିଛି students campus library ଭିତରେ shelter ନେଇଥିବା ଏବଂ librarianଙ୍କୁ ମଧ୍ୟ allegedly harass କରାଯାଇଥିବା କଥା Students’ Union କହିଛି। ଏହି allegations independently established ହୋଇନାହିଁ। 

Times of India report ଅନୁସାରେ ପ୍ରାୟ 30 students ଏବଂ 2 faculty members injury ହୋଇଥିବା କଥା ଆସିଛି। କିନ୍ତୁ initial reportsରେ injury numbers ଓ severity ନେଇ ଭିନ୍ନ ତଥ୍ୟ ରହିଥିଲା, ତେଣୁ final official count ସ୍ପଷ୍ଟ ନୁହେଁ। 

ABGP କ’ଣ କହିଛି?

ABGP studentsଙ୍କ allegationsକୁ ଅସ୍ୱୀକାର କରିଛି।

Organisationର West Bengal president Pankaj Roy କହିଛନ୍ତି ଯେ programmeଟି instituteର permission ନେଇ ଏବଂ auditorium rent ଦେଇ ଆୟୋଜିତ ହୋଇଥିଲା। ABGPର ଅଭିଯୋଗ ଅନୁସାରେ students programme disrupt କରିଥିଲେ, posters ଫାଡ଼ିଥିଲେ ଏବଂ organisationର membersଙ୍କୁ attack କରିଥିଲେ। 

Indian Express report ଅନୁସାରେ ABGP members ଏହା ମଧ୍ୟ ଅଭିଯୋଗ କରିଥିଲେ ଯେ Bharat Mata ଓ Swami Vivekanandaଙ୍କ postersକୁ କ୍ଷତି ପହଞ୍ଚାଯାଇଥିଲା। Students ଏହି versionକୁ disputed କରିଛନ୍ତି।

RSS ସହ ABGPର ସମ୍ପର୍କକୁ ନେଇ କ’ଣ ତଥ୍ୟ?

ABGPକୁ ବିଭିନ୍ନ reportsରେ RSS-linked organisation ଭାବେ ବର୍ଣ୍ଣନା କରାଯାଇଛି। India Todayର report ଅନୁସାରେ ABGP ନିଜ websiteରେ movementକୁ RSS management ଦ୍ୱାରା “supported” ବୋଲି ବର୍ଣ୍ଣନା କରେ, କିନ୍ତୁ organisation administrationରେ RSSର role ନଥିବା କଥା କହେ।

ସେଥିପାଇଁ ABGPକୁ RSSର ସିଧାସଳଖ administrative wing ବୋଲି କହିବାଠାରୁ “RSS-linked” କିମ୍ବା “RSS-supported ବୋଲି ବର୍ଣ୍ଣିତ organisation” କହିବା ଅଧିକ ସଠିକ୍।

Institute Administration ଉପରେ ପ୍ରଶ୍ନ

Studentsଙ୍କ ମୁଖ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଶ୍ନ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଗୋଟିଏ ହେଉଛି—ଏକ outside organisationକୁ academic campusର auditorium ବ୍ୟବହାର କରିବାକୁ କାହିଁକି permission ଦିଆଗଲା?

Student representatives ଦାବି କରିଛନ୍ତି ଯେ decision ପୂର୍ବରୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସହ consultation ହୋଇନଥିଲା। କିନ୍ତୁ faculty sources ଅନୁସାରେ community hall weekendରେ external events ପାଇଁ rentରେ ଦିଆଯାଏ। 

ତେଣୁ administration ନିୟମ ଭଙ୍ଗ କରିଥିଲା କି ନାହିଁ, ତାହା available reportsରୁ conclusively ସ୍ଥିର କରାଯାଇପାରୁନାହିଁ। କିନ୍ତୁ event permission, campus security ଏବଂ clash preventionକୁ ନେଇ managementର role ଉପରେ students ପ୍ରଶ୍ନ ଉଠାଇଛନ୍ତି।

Police Responseକୁ ନେଇ ମଧ୍ୟ ବିବାଦ

Clash ବଢ଼ିବା ପରେ police campus ଓ ତାହାର ବାହାରେ deployment କରିଥିଲା। Students gate ବନ୍ଦ କରିଥିଲେ ଏବଂ ଦୁଇପକ୍ଷରୁ sloganeering ହୋଇଥିଲା। 

Studentsଙ୍କ ଅଭିଯୋଗ ଅନୁସାରେ police violenceକୁ ଶୀଘ୍ର control କରିନଥିଲା। ଅନ୍ୟପଟେ reports ଦର୍ଶାଉଛି ଯେ police ପରେ intervention କରି injured studentsଙ୍କ ambulanceକୁ campusରୁ ବାହାରିବାରେ ସହାୟତା କରିଥିଲା। 

FIR ନେଇ Latest Update

September 29ର latest Indian Express report ଅନୁସାରେ incident ସମ୍ପର୍କରେ 3ଟି FIR ରେକର୍ଡ ହୋଇଛି, ଯାହାର ଦୁଇଟି unidentified studentsଙ୍କ ବିରୋଧରେ ବୋଲି report କରାଯାଇଛି। Investigation ଜାରି ରହିଛି। 

ତେବେ ଦାୟୀ କିଏ?

ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ available evidence ଆଧାରରେ ଏକପକ୍ଷକୁ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଭାବେ violence ପାଇଁ ଦାୟୀ ବୋଲି କହିବା ଠିକ୍ ହେବ ନାହିଁ।

Students ଓ ABGP ଦୁଇପକ୍ଷ ଏକାପରକୁ attack ଆରମ୍ଭ କରିଥିବାର ଅଭିଯୋଗ କରୁଛନ୍ତି। Institute administrationର permission ଓ security planning ଏବଂ policeର response ଉପରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଶ୍ନ ଉଠିଛି। Police investigation ଓ FIR process ଶେଷ ହେବା ପରେ ଘଟଣାର responsibility ବିଷୟରେ ଅଧିକ ସ୍ପଷ୍ଟତା ଆସିପାରେ।
