Around 2,55,265 Odisha women, previously excluded from Subhadra Yojana, have now been included and will receive two ₹5,000 installments together by January 18. Additionally, 1,78,398 newly added beneficiaries will receive their first installment under the scheme.
The state government will disburse a total of ₹250 crore directly to beneficiaries’ bank accounts in this phase, ensuring no eligible woman is left out due to verification or procedural delays.
Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida confirmed that over 4.57 lakh women will receive financial support under Subhadra Yojana by January 18, with pending installments cleared in full for earlier beneficiaries and one installment for newly included women.
