Senior Odisha Congress leader and veteran politician Sura Routray has signalled a possible comeback to active electoral politics, indicating that he may contest elections again from the Jatani constituency in Khordha district.Speaking on Monday, Routray said he would consider contesting on a Congress ticket if there is strong public demand for his candidature. Emphasising his long-standing association with the constituency, he claimed that the Congress party lost the Jatani seat in the previous election primarily because he did not contest.The senior leader also highlighted his continued engagement with the public, stating that he remains actively involved in various programmes and interactions across the constituency. He further claimed that the Congress party has both organisational capacity and sufficient financial resources to mount a strong campaign in future elections.
