In a major step towards enhancingdigital governance and citizen-friendly service delivery, the Odisha government on Thursday launched the‘Ama Sathi Unified WhatsApp Bot’, enabling residents to access keyrevenue-related servicesdirectly through WhatsApp.The initiative was formally launched byChief Minister Mohan Charan MajhiatLok Seva Bhavan in Bhubaneswar. With the introduction of this digital platform, citizens can avail various revenue services at their fingertips, significantly reducing the need for repeated visits totehsil offices.Services under the new system can be accessed by simply sending a message to the designated WhatsApp number9437292000. Officials said the platform is designed to make interactions with revenue departments more efficient, transparent, and time-saving.
