Ravi Bishnoi’s resurgence in international cricket comes after months of intense training and technical refinement following a slump in form during the 2025–26 season. The leg spinner, who had lost his place in the Indian team and struggled in IPL 2025, worked closely with coaches Shahrukh and Pradyot Singh Rathore to correct biomechanical flaws in his action. Bishnoi trained twice daily, starting at 5 a.m., focusing on both red- and white-ball skills.
Adjustments to his run-up, release point, and crease usage helped him regain control over his leg-breaks, googlies, and sliders. His improved performances in domestic tournaments like the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and Vijay Hazare Trophy reflected the success of the revamp. Bishnoi’s renewed form was evident in the recent T20I series, signaling a strong return to competitive cricket.
