In a major crackdown on narcotics smuggling, law enforcement authorities have arrested Jayaraj, identified as the kingpin of a cannabis oil trafficking syndicate. Acting on intelligence inputs, police tracked down the accused after conducting a detailed investigation into the illegal extraction and distribution of ganja oil across multiple states.

Sources revealed that Jayaraj was allegedly coordinating the procurement of raw cannabis, processing it into concentrated oil, and supplying it through a well-organised interstate network. The racket is believed to have been operating for a considerable period, generating significant illegal profits.

During the operation, officials seized incriminating materials and are now probing financial transactions, possible associates, and supply chains linked to the accused. Further investigation is underway to identify other members of the network and trace the distribution routes.

Authorities have termed the arrest a significant breakthrough in their ongoing campaign against drug trafficking.
