In a post on X, Tendulkar described Pawar as a dedicated leader who worked tirelessly for the people of Maharashtra and extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and friends.
Ajit Pawar was travelling to Baramati to address public meetings ahead of the Zilla Parishad elections when the Bombardier Learjet 45 he was aboard crashed during a second emergency landing attempt. The accident claimed the lives of Pawar, two pilots, and two security personnel. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation has launched a detailed investigation as tributes continue to pour in from across the country.
