Bhubaneswar is set to get a modern administrative hub with the construction of a new Lok Seva Bhavan, with Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi scheduled to lay the foundation stone on Monday.
The new Lok Seva Bhavan, along with the Odisha Legislative Assembly building, will be developed within a single integrated campus spanning 71.13 acres, with an estimated cost of Rs 3,623 crore. The project has already received master plan approval.
The foundation stone ceremony will be held at the Lok Seva Bhavan Conference Hall as part of National Road Safety Month. The complex will feature modern infrastructure, improved facilities, and basement parking to ease congestion and enhance accessibility.
Once completed, the integrated campus will provide a state-of-the-art workspace for government offices and lawmakers, boosting administrative efficiency and public service delivery while reflecting the government’s vision for a contemporary administrative hub.
