Amid Global Uncertainty, Mukesh Ambani Hails PM Modi as India’s ‘Protective Wall’

Amid rising global uncertainty, Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani on Sunday praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi, calling him an “invincible protective wall” shielding India from geopolitical turbulence, and expressed confidence in India’s trajectory during what he termed its defining decade.

Speaking at the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference in Rajkot, Ambani noted that while global headwinds pose challenges, Indians remain secure under PM Modi’s leadership. He added that the country is not just preparing for the future but actively shaping it, experiencing unprecedented “hope, self-confidence, and vibrancy.”

Ambani announced a series of major investments and initiatives in Gujarat, including support for bringing the 2036 Olympics to Ahmedabad, managing the Veer Savarkar Multisports Complex in Naranpura, building a world-class hospital in Jamnagar, and expanding the group’s educational facilities across the state.

He also outlined Reliance’s investment plans, revealing that the company has invested over ₹3.5 lakh crore in the past five years and aims to double it to ₹7 lakh crore in the next five. Ambani unveiled India’s largest AI-ready data centre in Jamnagar and announced a Jio people-first intelligence platform to provide AI services in local languages, enhancing productivity for citizens.

Opening with “Jai Somnath!”, Ambani said the Prime Minister’s prayers at the temple had sent positive vibrations nationwide, and asserted that the Modi era marks India’s transformation from potential to performance, aspiration to action, and follower to global force.
