The breakdown has compelled patients to travel several kilometres into Bhadrak town for X-ray tests at private diagnostic centres, resulting in significant out-of-pocket expenses, particularly burdening poor and vulnerable patients.
The prolonged disruption has sparked dissatisfaction among patients and local residents, who have raised questions about the hospital administration’s responsiveness despite repeated complaints. While hospital authorities have assured that repair work is underway and the issue will be resolved soon, patients continue to face hardship in the absence of essential diagnostic facilities.
