Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) extended their unbeaten streak in the Women’s Premier League 2026 with a dominant 32-run victory over Gujarat Giants, surging to the top of the points table after a clinical all-round performance.
Put in a spot of trouble early at 45 for 4 inside the Powerplay, RCB rebuilt their innings through a sensational knock from Radha Yadav. The left-hander produced the best innings of her WPL career, scoring 66 off 42 balls to register her maiden half-century. She shared a vital 105-run partnership for the fifth wicket with Richa Ghosh, who chipped in with a fluent 44 off 28 deliveries. Nadine de Klerk added valuable late runs with a brisk 26, guiding RCB to a competitive total of 182 for 7.
Chasing 183, Gujarat Giants began positively but were unable to maintain momentum as wickets fell at regular intervals after the third over. Beth Mooney’s 27 and Bharti Fulmali’s 39 offered brief resistance, while Kashvee Gautam provided some late hitting, but the chase gradually slipped away.
Off-spinner Shreyanka Patil produced a match-winning spell, claiming her maiden WPL five-wicket haul with figures of 5 for 23. She was well supported by Lauren Bell, who picked up 3 for 29, as Gujarat Giants were bowled out for 150 in 18.5 overs.
Earlier, Sophie Devine was the standout bowler for Gujarat Giants with figures of 3 for 31, though multiple dropped catches hurt their cause. With this win, RCB preserved their perfect record in WPL 2026 and firmly established themselves at the top of the standings.
