The reports, though unverified, spread rapidly, triggering emotional reactions from fans who have long regarded Shraddha as Bollywood’s “national crush.”
The speculation was fuelled by a widely shared Instagram post that described a “beautiful heritage wedding” and suggested that preparations were already underway. While no official announcement accompanied the claims, the post was enough to send social media into overdrive.
The rumours soon caught the attention of Shraddha’s brother, Siddhanth Kapoor. Responding directly in the comments section of one such post, Siddhanth appeared amused and surprised. Using laughing and shocked emojis, he wrote in Hindi, “Yeh toh mere liye bhi news hai” (This is news for me too), making it clear that the family was unaware of any such wedding plans.
His candid reaction prompted many users to comment that the clarification should put an end to the speculation, at least for now.
