The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has announced recruitment for118 Assistant Agriculture Officer (AAO)posts under the Odisha Agriculture and Food Production Service (Class-II, Group-B), functioning under the Department of Agriculture & Farmers’ Empowerment.
According to the requisition, the category-wise distribution of vacancies is as follows:
Unreserved:61 posts
SEBC:14 posts
Scheduled Caste:29 posts
Scheduled Tribe:14 postsAdditionally,40 of the total posts are reserved for women candidates.
Online registration & fee payment:January 10 to January 27, 2026 (till 5 PM)
Last date for submitting registered application:January 30, 2026 (till 5 PM)
Applications must be submitted exclusively through the official OPSC website; applications via any other mode will not be accepted.
Candidates must possess aB.Sc. in AgricultureorB.Sc. in Horticulturefrom a recognized university or institution. No equivalent qualifications will be considered.
Candidates belonging to theGeneral and SEBC categoriesmust pay an online examination fee ofRs 700.SC, ST, and PwD candidates are exempted from the fee.
The recruitment process includes:
Written Examination (MCQ-based)
Personality Test (Interview)
The written exam is tentatively scheduled forFebruary 19, 2026(Thursday), with centres inCuttack and Bhubaneswar. A detailed timetable will be issued separately.
OPSC will release theprovisional answer keywithin 10 days of the exam, inviting objections. Candidates who fail to raise objections at this stage will not be allowed to dispute the answers later.
