The Himachal High Court was thrown into a state of heightened alert after authorities received a bomb threat via email, prompting immediate and extensive security measures. Following the receipt of the warning, court officials swiftly coordinated with law enforcement agencies to ensure the safety of all judges, court staff, lawyers, and visitors present in the complex.

A specialized bomb disposal squad was dispatched to the premises, accompanied by a dog squad trained to detect explosives, along with a significant contingent of police personnel. The teams conducted a meticulous and comprehensive search, examining every corner of the court complex including courtrooms, corridors, offices, parking areas, and public waiting zones. Each suspicious package and area was carefully inspected to rule out the presence of any explosives or hazardous materials.

After a thorough investigation, officials confirmed that no explosive devices or suspicious objects were found within the premises. While the immediate threat was neutralized, security at the court remains tightened as a precaution, with continuous monitoring and patrolling of the area.

Authorities have urged the public and court attendees to remain alert and report any suspicious activity. The source of the email is under investigation, and officials are coordinating with cyber and intelligence units to trace the origin of the threat and prevent any future incidents. This incident highlights the ongoing challenges of ensuring security at high-profile judicial institutions and underscores the importance of rapid response protocols in safeguarding lives and maintaining public confidence in the safety of key government institutions.
