The excitement surrounding Yash’s much-awaited film Toxic has intensified after the makers confirmed that a special visual—widely expected to be a teaser—will be unveiled on January 8 at 10:10 AM, coinciding with the actor’s birthday. Director Geetu Mohandas shared a new poster on social media to make the announcement, instantly igniting fan frenzy.

The poster features Yash walking through dense smoke amid burnt-down structures and lifeless bodies, suggesting a grim, violent and uncompromising tone. The imagery strongly hints at a gritty, adult-oriented narrative and has led fans to speculate about the morally complex character Yash is set to portray. Mohandas captioned the poster, “Revealing the ONE they warned you about,” adding to the intrigue.

While the makers have not officially confirmed whether the reveal will be a teaser or a trailer, expectations are sky-high. The anticipation has been building steadily through a series of character posters featuring the film’s female leads, including Kiara Advani, each offering glimpses into the film’s intense and layered world.

Industry insiders believe the birthday reveal could set new records for teaser launches, driven by Yash’s massive pan-India fan base and the secrecy maintained around the project. With a worldwide theatrical release scheduled for March 19, Toxic is gearing up for a high-stakes box office showdown with Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2.

As the countdown to January 8 begins, all eyes are on whether Toxic’s first major glimpse will live up to the towering expectations and further cement Yash’s status as a pan-India superstar.
