The deceased has been identified as Nataraj Thanapati, a businessman and resident of the Deulgudi area under Tushura police station limits. According to preliminary information, police personnel noticed a motorcycle parked on the bridge during routine night patrolling, which aroused suspicion. A subsequent search of the area below the bridge led to the discovery of the body.

After confirming the identity of the deceased, police informed his family members, who later reached the spot. The body was sent for post-mortem examination as part of standard procedure. Police said the victim was engaged in local business activities, though details of his movements prior to the incident are yet to be established.

The exact cause of death remains unclear at this stage. Investigators are examining all possible angles, including whether the death was accidental, self-inflicted, or the result of foul play.
