Television actor Akanksha Chamola has finally responded to the online trolling that erupted after her husband Gaurav Khanna wonBigg Boss Season 19. The criticism largely stemmed from videos of Akanksha dancing with fellow actors during promotional events for her upcoming show, triggering unnecessary speculation about her personal life and marriage.
The latest controversy arose after Akanksha was seen dancing with co-stars Kunwar Amar and Ali Hasan, shortly after another clip featuring influencer Awez Darbar went viral. Social media users began analysing her professional appearances, questioning her loyalty despite the lack of any basis.
Reacting to the chatter, Akanksha reshared a video by influencer Jayati Unscripted, who called out the double standards faced by female actors. The influencer pointed out that while Gaurav has performed romantic scenes on television without scrutiny, Akanksha is being judged simply for dancing as part of her work.
Akanksha echoed the sentiment, stating that loyalty is not an achievement but the bare minimum in any marriage. She stressed that being faithful should be expected, not applauded, and that actors should be allowed to perform without their personal lives being dissected.
