The Government of Odisha has appointed Shri Bishnupada Sethi, IAS (RR-1995), as the Chairman of the Odisha Forest Development Corporation (OFDC).
Shri Sethi is currently serving as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in the General Administration & Public Grievance Department. According to the official notification issued under No. 3939/AIS.I, he has been entrusted with the responsibility of leading the Odisha Forest Development Corporation, a key state-run organization involved in forest resource management and development activities.
In addition to his new assignment, Shri Bishnupada Sethi has been permitted to continue holding the additional charge of Chief Administrator, KBK (Koraput-Bolangir-Kalahandi). The decision reflects the state government’s confidence in his administrative experience and leadership capabilities.
The appointment is expected to strengthen governance and operational efficiency within the Odisha Forest Development Corporation, especially in areas related to sustainable forest development and resource utilization.
