Punjabi and Bollywood singer B Praak has received a death threat demanding Rs 10 crore, allegedly from a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, prompting a police investigation in Mohali.
According to the complaint, the threat reached B Praak through his associate, Punjabi singer Dilnoor, who received multiple suspicious calls in early January. On January 6, a voice message from a caller identifying himself as Arju Bishnoi demanded Rs 10 crore for B Praak, warning that anyone associated with him would be harmed and threatening to “reduce him to dust” if the demand was not met.
Following the threat, Dilnoor filed a written complaint with the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Mohali, and authorities have launched an investigation. B Praak, known for his hit Bollywood songs, now faces heightened security concerns amid a spate of violent incidents linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, including firing attacks in Delhi and arrests made by Delhi Police in connection with previous attacks.
