President of India Droupadi Murmu on Friday highlighted the importance of ensuring that rapid technological advancement aligns with the broader goals of social justice, gender equality, and inclusive economic growth. She was addressing the Black Swan Summit held in Bhubaneswar.President Murmu noted that the world is currently witnessing an era of unprecedented technological acceleration, where innovations are emerging faster than systems, skills, and business models can adapt. While acknowledging concerns such as cybersecurity threats, deepfakes, misinformation, and increasing dependence on digital platforms, she underlined that technology remains a powerful engine for innovation and economic progress.
