Odisha is ramping up preparations for Vice-President C.P. Radhakrishnan’s visit on January 23, aiming for a smooth and well-coordinated schedule of official engagements.

Bhubaneswar: Odisha is gearing up for Vice-President C.P. Radhakrishnan’s visit on January 23, with the state government taking extensive measures to ensure all official engagements run smoothly.

A high-level preparatory meeting chaired by Chief Secretary Anu Garg was held at Lok Seva Bhavan, attended by senior officials from various departments. Discussions focused on security, logistics, protocol, and coordination for the Vice-President’s visit.

Arrival and Official EngagementsThe Vice-President is scheduled to arrive at Bhubaneswar airport at 8:50 am and will travel to Cuttack to participate in programmes marking Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s birth anniversary, observed nationally as Parakram Diwas. In Cuttack, he will visit the Netaji Museum and inaugurate the District Culture Bhavan, highlighting Odisha’s commitment to cultural preservation.

Departure ScheduleAfter his engagements in Cuttack, the Vice-President will attend a luncheon at Chief Secretary’s Lok Bhavan before returning to Bhubaneswar airport to depart for Kolkata at 2:15 pm.

The state administration has assured that all arrangements are in place for a safe, well-coordinated, and seamless visit.
