The Government of Odisha has issued an official notification appointing senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer Shri Surendra Kumar, IAS (RR-1993), as the Additional Chief Secretary to the Government in the General Administration & Public Grievance Department. Prior to this appointment, Shri Surendra Kumar was serving as Additional Chief Secretary to the Government in the Steel & Mines Department. He was also holding additional charge of the General Administration & Public Grievance Department and the Parliamentary Affairs Department.
