The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released a new explainer video to help NEET UG aspirants better understand the process of selecting their examination city and preferred question paper language while filling out the application form.
The video was shared on February 10 through the official NTA Exams account on X and aims to address recurring confusion among candidates. Many applicants, according to the agency, are unclear about how exam centres are allotted and how the medium of the question paper is decided.
NTA clarified that both the exam city options and language preferences are determined strictly based on the present and permanent address details entered by candidates in the NEET UG 2026 application form. Any mismatch or incorrect information in address fields may affect exam centre allocation.
With NEET UG registrations currently open and the application window closing on March 8 at 9 pm, the agency urged candidates to watch the explainer video carefully before submitting their forms to avoid errors that could impact their examination experience.
While the video focuses specifically on application-related logistics, aspirants are also advised to regularly monitor official NTA platforms and the NEET UG website for updates related to the syllabus, admit cards, sample papers, and other important exam-related announcements.
