Marital Tension Sparks Controversy: Prateek Yadav Accuses Wife Aparna on Instagram
Serious marital tensions have emerged between Prateek Yadav, son of Mulayam Singh Yadav and brother of Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, and his wife Aparna Yadav, after Prateek publicly announced his intention to seek a divorce through a social media post.
Prateek shared a post on Instagram (@iamprateekyadav), stating that he no longer wished to continue the marriage and wanted to expedite the divorce. In the post, he alleged that Aparna had damaged family ties, prioritised fame and influence over personal relationships, and caused a rift within his family. He claimed he was in poor mental health and regretted marrying her.
Aparna Yadav’s camp, however, dismissed the claims, stating that Prateek’s Instagram account was hacked and that he could neither edit nor delete the post. They said an official statement clarifying their position would be issued soon.
