Bollywood actress Mrunal Thakur is currently busy promoting her upcoming filmDo Deewane Seher Meinin Mumbai, but attention has also shifted to rumours about her supposed wedding on February 14 with South superstar Dhanush. In an exclusive chat with India Today, she dismissed the speculation with humour, suggesting that the day would turn out to be an April Fool’s joke for many.
Talking about arranged marriage in her film, Mrunal revealed that her family has discussed potential matches, but she jokingly told them to “find a guy” herself. She stressed that her personal life is as important as her professional one, highlighting that marriage should happen at the right time with the right person — someone with whom she feels comfortable and can share silence without awkwardness.
When reminded of reports about her impending wedding, she laughed, joking about her “haldi” and “sangeet” ceremonies. Her co-star Siddhant Chaturvedi joined in the fun, suggesting that people line up outside her house dressed as bridegrooms on February 14. Mrunal added that she enjoys being expressive in love and will proudly announce her marriage when it happens, embracing the excitement of being in love.
The actress’s latest film,Do Deewane Seher Mein, starring Mrunal Thakur and Siddhant Chaturvedi, is set to release on February 20. Amidst promotions, she continues to handle media attention gracefully, balancing humour and honesty while addressing personal rumours.
