Iran has announced three key conditions that it says must be met to end the ongoing conflict with the United States and Israel, outlining what it described as the necessary path toward peace in the region.
Speaking about the situation, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated that the conflict could come to an end only if Tehran’s demands are acknowledged and accepted by its adversaries and the international community.
According to Pezeshkian, the first condition isrecognition of Iran’s legitimate rights, which Tehran claims have been ignored during the course of the conflict.
The second demand iscompensation for the damage caused during the war. Iranian authorities argue that attacks and hostilities have resulted in significant economic and infrastructure losses for the country.
The third condition involvesstrong international guarantees that Iran will not face future attacksfrom either the United States or Israel.
Pezeshkian shared these conditions through a message on the social media platformX, noting that he had discussed the regional situation with leaders from Russia and Pakistan while reaffirming Iran’s willingness to pursue peace.
Alongside the proposal for a potential truce, Iran also issued a warning regarding possible escalation. A spokesperson for the Iranian armed forces said that if the United States were to strike Iranianport facilities, Tehran would respond strongly.
The spokesperson warned thatno port, economic hub, or strategic location in the Persian Gulf region would be beyond Iran’s reachin such a scenario.
The statements come at a time when tensions involving Iran, Israel and the United States continue to escalate, raising concerns about the possibility of a broader conflict across theMiddle East.
