FilmmakerSandeep Reddy Vangahas shed light on the creative thought behind the much-discussed poster of his upcoming action dramaSpirit, starringPrabhasandTriptii Dimri.
Speaking during an interaction withPeople Media Factory, Vanga revealed that the poster is not a conceptual design but a still lifted from an actual scene in the film.
“That’s a one-litre bottle. It looks like a glass in his hand. People also thought another glass was placed on the railing and that both husband and wife were drinking in the poster,”Vanga said, clarifying the visual confusion among fans.
The director explained that the image captured a powerful moment and helped him decide how he wanted to present Prabhas after his iconicBaahubaliphase.
“That is cut from a scene of the film. I was thinking how I should present him afterBaahubali. It had to be something strong,”he added.
Reacting to the concept, Prabhas expressed his admiration for the poster and the idea behind it.
“The idea of the poster is crazy. How did you get that idea?”the actor asked during the conversation.
Later, he praised the final result, calling it a standout in his career.
“It is my best poster till now. No doubt. It is a cult poster,”Prabhas said.
During the interaction, Vanga also shared a lighter moment, speaking about Prabhas’s off-screen persona.
“I heard that Prabhas is a shy man, but his shyness is on another level. It is just too much,”he remarked with a smile.
