Actor Allu Arjun has responded to circulating reports that he had a list of 42 strict rules for a brand manager, calling the allegations “completely baseless” and confirming that legal proceedings have been initiated.
The controversy erupted following a viral segment on the Sweekriti Talks podcast, where former brand manager Kaveri Baruah, who reportedly worked with Royal Enfield’s brand strategy team, claimed that the team had a note listing 42 dos and don’ts. She mentioned restrictions like “don’t look into sir’s eyes” and “don’t shake your hands,” and described a complex chain of management.
Arjun’s representatives swiftly issued a statement refuting the claims: “Certain recent comments made about Mr. Allu Arjun are completely baseless and untrue. He has always conducted himself with the utmost dignity and honour. We take these false allegations seriously. Our legal team is initiating defamation proceedings against those responsible. We request everyone to refrain from spreading unverified information.”
The podcast clip attracted attention not only for the alleged rules but also because Kaveri declined to provide further details, saying, “Mere ko kya pata? Aur nahi bataungi main (How would I know? I won’t say anything else),” which left viewers curious and skeptical. Despite Kaveri deleting her social media profiles, discussions continue online, though Arjun’s team maintains that the claims have no merit and are being addressed legally.
The actor’s camp emphasizes respect for verified information and cautions against sharing unverified stories that could harm reputations.
