A minor was injured by an air gun pellet during a practice session in Rasnapur village, Mirgamunda area of Sambalpur Sadar on Sunday, sparking panic in the locality. The child was immediately rushed to Burla Medical College and Hospital, where an iron fragment from the pellet was discovered lodged in the body. Due to the severity of the injury, the minor was referred to Sishu Bhavan in Cuttack for specialised treatment.
