In a coordinated counter-terrorism operation in Kathua district, Jammu and Kashmir, a Pakistani national and Jaish terrorist named Usman was neutralised by a joint team of the Jammu & Kashmir Police’s Special Operations Group, Army, and CRPF in the Billawar area. Acting on specific intelligence, security forces cordoned off the Parhetar region, engaged the terrorist, and carried out a precise strike. The IGP of Jammu confirmed the success of the operation and stated that search efforts continue to ensure there are no remaining threats in the area. The operation highlights ongoing vigilance and collaboration between the Army, police, and paramilitary forces to maintain security in Jammu and Kashmir.
