A serious road accident was reported in Bhubaneswar after a car rammed into a barricade on the Shishu Bhavan overbridge and plunged down from the flyover. According to sources, the vehicle went out of control, hit a tree after falling, and was thrown onto the roof of a nearby house, triggering panic among local residents.
The driver was rescued safely from the damaged vehicle and is reported to be out of danger. Fortunately, no other injuries or casualties were reported in the incident. The accident took place under the jurisdiction of the Capital Police Station.
Police personnel rushed to the spot immediately after receiving information and began an investigation to determine the exact cause of the mishap. Traffic movement in the area was temporarily disrupted following the accident.
