Indiaରେ WhatsApp Business Platform ବ୍ୟବହାର କରୁଥିବା businesses ପାଇଁ October 1, 2026ରୁ messaging cost ବଢ଼ିବ। Meta ନୂଆ pricing structure ଆଣୁଛି, ଯାହା ଅନୁସାରେ ପୂର୍ବରୁ free ଥିବା କିଛି business messages ଏବେ chargeable ହେବ।

ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ କୌଣସି customer businessକୁ message କଲେ, ତାହା ପରବର୍ତ୍ତୀ 24 ଘଣ୍ଟା ମଧ୍ୟରେ business customerକୁ reply, order confirmation କିମ୍ବା delivery update freeରେ ପଠାଇପାରୁଛି।

କିନ୍ତୁ October 1ରୁ ଏହି ruleରେ ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ ହେବ। Customer message କରିବା ପରେ 24-hour window ଭିତରେ ପଠାଯାଇଥିଲେ ମଧ୍ୟ order confirmation ଓ delivery update ଭଳି utility messages ପାଇଁ businessକୁ charge ଦେବାକୁ ପଡ଼ିବ।

Utility Message ପାଇଁ କେତେ ଚାର୍ଜ?

Indiaରେ Meta utility messages ପାଇଁ standard rate ₹0.115 per delivered message ରଖିଛି, GST ବ୍ୟତୀତ।

18% GST ସହିତ ପ୍ରତି messageର cost ପ୍ରାୟ ₹0.136 ହେବ।

ଉଦାହରଣ ସ୍ୱରୂପ, କୌଣସି business 1,000ଟି order update ପଠାଇଲେ:

• Before GST: ₹115
• Including 18% GST: ପ୍ରାୟ ₹135.70

Marketing Message ହେବ ଅଧିକ ମହଙ୍ଗା

WhatsApp Business Platformରେ ସମସ୍ତ messageର rate ସମାନ ନୁହେଁ।

Marketing messages ଯେପରିକି promotional offers, sale announcements ଓ advertising messages ପାଇଁ standard rate ₹0.8631 per message ରହିଛି।

Authentication message ଯେପରିକି OTP ପାଇଁ rate ₹0.115 per message before GST ରହିଛି।

1,000 Service Replies Free

October 1ରୁ ପ୍ରତି business phone number ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରତିମାସ ପ୍ରଥମ 1,000 service replies free ରହିବ।

ଅର୍ଥାତ୍ customer କୌଣସି query ପଚାରିଲେ business ତାହାର reply ପଠାଇପାରିବ ଏବଂ ପ୍ରଥମ 1,000 service messages ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ Meta କୌଣସି messaging charge ନେବ ନାହିଁ।

ଯଦି business ଏକ ମାସରେ 1,500 service replies ପଠାଏ, ତେବେ:

• First 1,000 messages: Free
• Remaining 500 messages: Chargeable

₹0.115 rate ଅନୁସାରେ 500 messages ପାଇଁ cost ହେବ ₹57.50 before GST ଏବଂ ପ୍ରାୟ ₹67.85 including GST।

କେଉଁ Message Free ରହିବ?

ସମସ୍ତ WhatsApp Business messages chargeable ହେବ ନାହିଁ।

Customerମାନେ businessକୁ WhatsAppରେ message କରିବାକୁ କୌଣସି charge ଦେବେ ନାହିଁ।

ସେହିପରି businessମାନେ ପ୍ରତି business phone number ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରତିମାସ 1,000 service replies free ପାଇବେ।

Meta, Click-to-WhatsApp ads କିମ୍ବା Facebook Pageର call-to-action button ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ଆସୁଥିବା customer conversations ପାଇଁ existing 72-hour free window ମଧ୍ୟ ଚାଲୁ ରଖିବ।

ଏହି 72 ଘଣ୍ଟା ମଧ୍ୟରେ business customerକୁ message ପଠାଇଲେ Meta messaging charge ଲାଗିବ ନାହିଁ।

Regular WhatsApp User ପାଇଁ କୌଣସି ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ ନାହିଁ

ଏହି pricing change କେବଳ WhatsApp Business Platform ପାଇଁ।

Regular WhatsApp କିମ୍ବା WhatsApp Business app ବ୍ୟବହାର କରୁଥିବା ସାଧାରଣ usersଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ କୌଣସି payment rule ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ ହେଉନାହିଁ।

Customerମାନେ businessକୁ message ପଠାଇବା, reply ପାଇବା, order update କିମ୍ବା delivery notification receive କରିବା ପାଇଁ କୌଣସି charge ଦେବେ ନାହିଁ।
