Indian cricketer Virat Kohli and actor Anushka Sharma are front and centre in a new Dubai tourism campaign that highlights both the city’s attractions and the couple’s playful bond. Released on social media, the advertisement features the duo surprising each other while exploring Dubai, quickly drawing attention for its candid moments and cinematic visuals.

The film opens with Kohli and Sharma taking in Dubai’s skyline, where Virat challenges Anushka to surprise him. What follows is a series of experiences across the city, including a private lunch in the desert, wildlife encounters and beachside activities. The visuals blend Dubai’s luxury and natural beauty with the couple’s relaxed chemistry, presenting the city as both glamorous and welcoming.

One standout moment shows the pair playing beach volleyball, with Anushka claiming victory and teasing, “Told you, I am the better athlete.” Virat responds in good humour, saying, “And I am the better dancer.” Their playful competitiveness and easy banter form the emotional core of the campaign, resonating strongly with fans.

The ad later shifts to their hotel, where Virat models outfits selected by Anushka and entertains her with a dance performance. In a nostalgic twist, Anushka surprises Virat with his favourite comfort food, chole bhature, a dish closely tied to his Delhi roots despite his typically strict diet. The moment adds a personal touch, reinforcing the authenticity of their on-screen interaction.

The campaign has received an enthusiastic response online, with fans praising the couple’s natural chemistry and the warm, relatable storytelling. Many viewers have also noted the polished production quality, which balances celebrity appeal with travel inspiration.

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma first met during a commercial shoot before marrying in 2017. They are parents to daughter Vamika, born in 2021, and son Akaay, born in 2024. The family currently resides in London.
