The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has introduced a WhatsApp helpline and email address to allow candidates and citizens to report information related to paper leaks and cheating gangs ahead of the upcoming Sub-Inspector (SI) recruitment examination.
The initiative aims to ensure a fair and transparent examination process. Authorities have urged people to share any information about suspicious activities linked to question paper leaks or organised cheating networks.

The Sub-Inspector recruitment examination will be conducted on March 14 and March 15 at multiple centres across Uttar Pradesh. The recruitment drive aims to fill 4,543 vacancies in the state police department.
According to officials, the examination will be held in two shifts each day. The first shift will run from 10 am to 12 pm, while the second shift will be conducted from 3 pm to 5 pm.
A large number of candidates are expected to appear for the exam, with more than 15.75 lakh applicants registered for the recruitment test.
Considering the scale of the examination, security arrangements have been significantly strengthened. The Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) has been placed on alert, and district-level crime branch teams have been activated to monitor possible cheating networks.
Authorities said law enforcement agencies will closely track groups attempting to leak question papers or help candidates cheat using unfair means. Immediate action will be taken if such activities are detected.
The recruitment board has appealed to the public and candidates to cooperate by sharing credible information that can help maintain the integrity of the examination process. Officials also warned that strict legal action will be taken against individuals involved in paper leaks, impersonation or organised cheating during the exam.
